Global Youth Consultation

The Children and Youth Constituency for Sustainable Communities (CYCSC) is organizing a Global Youth Consultation on progress towards the implementation of the New Urban Agenda. Similar to our consultation prior to Habitat III, this initiative will include a survey, regional and thematic online consultations, and other means of gathering feedback from young people.

This initiative is occurring in parallel with the UN Secretary-General's Quadrennial Report on implementation of the New Urban Agenda, to be published in 2022. The Consultation's outcomes will be published at the World Urban Forum in June 2022, in Katowice, Poland.

The Consultation will focus on the following thematic areas: housing, health, education, employment, and climate action. Corresponding Economic, Cultural, and Social Rights for each topic will be used to frame discussions and facilitate deepened conversation.
